Séminaire d’été 2010 à Berlin

Diversity in Modern Germany : Religion and Ethnicity, Sexuality, and Race

Professors : Till van Rahden, Université de Montréal (with Randall Hansen of the University of Toronto).

The course is open to graduate students from across Canada, especially those from all four Montreal universities with priority given to students enrolled at Université de Montréal and at McGill. The Centre offers travel grants for a total of six Montreal students.

Students from Université de Montréal enroll using the following course number : EAE 6041A. Other students enroll through the CRÉPUQ .

The course will meet every day from July 12-July 23, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition, there will be several site visits in Berlin, such as to Kreuzberg, the Jüdisches Museum in Berlin, the “Schwules Museum Berlin”, and the Haus der Wannseekonferenz where the Nazi “Final Solution to the Jewish Problem in Europe” was adopted.
